Slimming World Secrets

Graphic to illustrate Slimming World Target range with a woman in a bubble

Back in my Slimming World Target bubble

Well, after walking round for nine weeks feeling like a fraud for sporting my Slimming World Target badge on my coat despite being out of range, I’m back in my bubble. Phew!

Just a short post – but I felt I had to write something because, whenever I checked my blog visitor stats at the end of each day, the post at the top of the list was the one about crashing out of Target range after my previous Slimming World group closed.

As a Slimming World blogger, that’s not something I want to see!

Anyway, I’m now back in my bubble. That said, I’m only just back in range – so 3lbs over my Target weight of 5st 7lbs lost.

I actually got back in my bubble two and a half weeks ago – I missed group the past two Fridays.

But all’s looking OK on the home scales, so, as they say in these parts, I should be arate! I aim to be back at my Target, or even slightly below it, asap.

Slimming World Magazine feature update

As I say, this is just a short post, but I want to sign off by saying that I shall upload my five-page feature from the last issue (May/June) of Slimming World Magazine soon.

The lovely people at the Sparkly Castle have kindly given me permission to share the feature (plus full-length photo of yours truly) but I was asked to wait until the July issue went on sale.

And that was yesterday. I’ve not got my copy yet, but the cover looks amazing, and, rumour has it, there are some big changes inside.

Editor Sara Ward said on Instagram earlier there’s a “Mind, Body and Soul” section, which sounds right up my street.

I do so much better on the plan when I have the right mindset. Once I lose my mojo, I find it really hard to get it back.

That’s all for now folks. Enjoy the sunshine!

After seven years of playing at Slimming World, I finally got my head into gear and hit Target, losing 5½st. Since then, I've featured in Slimming World Magazine and won Woman of the Year twice. Not bad for a trans girl!

    Well Done Andi.
I have been on target for 4 years and I know how hard it can be to get back into it when you come out of it. I just look at it as an adventure and think of all the lovely food I can have without resorting back to all the fatty stuff.
The biggest adjustment for me was the change from 25 syns a day to 15 I found that quite a challenge but like all my challenges I had to work at it.
Well done you deserve a Slimming World cake for your efforts. Cheryl xx

Thanks Cheryl! No cake for me – I don’t really have a sweet tooth. Might celebrate with a glass or two of wine this weekend instead! xxx
